HOW TO USE THE UNIDIRECTIONAL ROTATING BEZEL
All watches that call themselves “diver” must have a rotating bezel in order to
mark the maximum diving time (the maximum life time of the cylinders,
for instance). This feature is of vital importance to divers and explains the
reason why the ring nut can only turn in one direction of rotation: to prevent,
inadvertently, the time indicated may be higher than originally
set to.
This function can also be used as a timer. Just move the triangle into the
set time and see the amount of time remaining.
To check the elapsed time, instead, align the triangle with the hand of
current minutes and, check how much time has elapsed, by reading the number of the
graduated scale on the bezel.
